“We met in October 2012; despite working at the same company, we met at our local fencing club, where David approached me asking if I worked at our company.
‘Yes… How do you know that?!’
‘I see you every day going for tea! I sit just by the kitchen’
‘Ah. I’ve never seen you before…’ Just another male engineer in the office!
We started fencing together twice a week, David charming me as only Italians can! Eventually we started dating (after a disastrous first date…), and have been inseparable ever since. We live together in Bristol, UK and still work together at the same company.
He proposed on our holiday to Sardinia in June 2016, in a fancy restaurant overlooking the sea and sunset. We decided to marry in Sardinia as well as it’s such a beautiful island and we were more likely to have sunny weather than in England! We had a civil ceremony in the town of Villanova Monteleone on Friday, a symbolic ceremony and reception on Saturday at the stunning Pedramare, and continued the celebrations on Sunday with a boat trip with our guests to the Grotte di Nettuno. All in all it was a fantastic and beautiful wedding”.
